Sam here! I apologize for any instance where I was unable to make a customer happy or perhaps, I seemed rude to someone. I deal with hundreds of people weekly, as I know many others do, but occasionally I am exhausted and don't show the proper patience necessary when dealing with the public.
There have been times when I neglected to transfer someones contact information during a busy day to my calendar and subsequently missed an appointment, which rightfully made them angry. Sorry, once it happens there is no going back, and I understand your anger
I have found over the years that the thousands of happy satisfied customers go on with their busy lives and don't bother to leave glowing reviews on the Internet. I am the same way - I simply don't have the time.
I have also found that there are people who can't wait to trash someones reputation at the least provocation. Fortunately I manage to spot this type early during business negotiations and I avoid working for them. Interestingly, these are the ones that leave scathing reviews! I never worked for them and only talked to them for less than 10 minutes. Go figure!
There are negative comments about me personally, and I probably deserve them, but you will not find any complaints about my workmanship or quality built fences. Thats what we do - build great fences!
Nearly every customer tells me at the end of a job to freely use them as a reference. I try and respect their privacy and not impose on them with unwanted phone calls or emails but I will provide references upon request.
